1. A lead or auxiliary rein must be on the horse(s) when putting to a vehicle, unhooking from a vehicle or when the whip is out of the vehicle.
2. Never remove the bridle while a horse is attached to the vehicle.
3. All horses, ridden or driven, must wear a bridle.
4. Th_ whip and passengers must remain seated at all times while in the vehicle.
5. The whip must never leave the vehicle until all passengers have gotten out of the vehicle.
6. Horses must be ridden or driven at a walk when entering or leaving an activity site.
7. Horses must be kept out of areas designated for pedestrians or spectators.
8. The Safety Committee must be contacted prior to an activity for non-members to participate with horses, ridden or driven.
9. Participants must have prior permission from a site host or landowner to bring a dog to the site. Dogs must be on a leash and under control at all times.
10. Participants must have permission from the site host or landowner prior to bringing a stallion to the site. Stallions must have been previously approved by the Safety Committee and the driver must have a competent assistant with him/her at all times.
11. Any person or animal that presents a clear and present danger at an activity will be excused.
